Community Guidelines
Hello! Welcome to KURIO – the community-based crowd sourcing platform – created to help you solve problems, share opportunities and make meaningful connections faster.
Making it easier for women to support other women is our mission.
To help guide the way you use KURIO and interact with others on the platform, we’ve set out a few easy-to-follow rules. Please take the time to read through the rules as their implementation is the best way to ensure the integrity of the KURIO platform and its optimal utility for users.
KURIO is currently in beta and we’re continually learning each day. Accordingly, we expect these guidelines to evolve. If you have any feedback or suggestions, we’d love to hear from you!
Please note that in order to sign-up, you must be 18 years or older.

- Be a “connector” – grow your own network while you help others do the same
As a member of the KURIO Crowd we ask that you:
Share Knowledge and Resources Freely
KURIO was created to help women better engage with and mobilize their networks in order to solve problems, share opportunities and make meaningful connections. With that mission in mind, we ask that you share freely. If you are a recipient of a KURIO, share your knowledge gained or lessons learned. If you are a creator of a KURIO, don’t hesitate to reach out to your network for help. We are all here to support and motivate each other so that we can succeed together!
Make sure you continue to engage with your network through KURIO. As with all things, you get out what you put in and we believe that purpose-driven engagement is the best way to strengthen and grow your network in a meaningful way.
Be Respectful
Please be respectful in all communications shared on this platform. We do not tolerate disrespect of others in any form or on any basis. For further details on prohibited behavior, please refer to our Inclusion and Harassment Policy below.
Refrain from Self-Promotion
Please do not use KURIO to spam or solicit others or to drive traffic to your business. KURIO is a space to share information and opportunities and to support and lift up other women. Please help us maintain the integrity of that mission by not misusing the platform. For further details, please see below for our No Solicitation Policy.
Be Discreet
In order to maintain KURIO as a safe space for sharing information and opportunities, please maintain all communications shared on the platform as confidential. In addition, please do not share information on this platform that you are legally obligated to keep confidential.
No Solicitation Policy
In order to uphold the purpose and mission of KURIO and maintain the utility of the platform for our users, we require adherence to a strict no solicitation policy.
We define solicitation as targeting other KURIO users or potential connections with the express purpose of sales with little or no prior relationship with such individual.
There is to be no solicitation using the KURIO platform including, but not limited to:
- Using the private message function to target other users for an offer (free or paid);
- researching email addresses of users and targeting them for an offer; or
- using other social media to target users for an offer.
Violation of the Solicitation Policy will result in your post being deleted and possible cancellation of your account.

Inclusion and Harassment Policy
KURIO is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion or disability. We do not tolerate harassment in any form.
Anyone who violates this agreement may be sanctioned or their account may be cancelled at the discretion of the KURIO team.
Reporting
The KURIO team actively monitors our spaces to prevent violations of this agreement, however, we cannot monitor private conversations between and among users. If you are being harassed or you feel another user has violated the terms of this agreement, please contact a member of the KURIO team at: info@kurioconnect.com.
Consequences
KURIO users asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
If a KURIO user engages in harassing behavior, the KURIO team may take any action it deems appropriate, including cancellation of any account and access to the KURIO platform as well as identification of the participant as a harasser to other members of the Kurio Crowd or the general public.

We reserve the right to change/amend/delete/modify these policies in whole or in part at any time. KURIO users will be advised of the change and hereby agree to all such changes.
